For the past three years, Legacy Futures has run a bursary programme to support the career development of legacy fundraisers through a mentoring programme. This year we are proud to announce that we have partnered with the Elischer Foundation to further support the career development of legacy fundraisers into senior leadership roles.
We launched our Future Leader Bursary to celebrate and nurture fundraisers and invest in the future talent that will take our sector forward. Our clients tell us that recruitment and retention is the of the biggest challenges facing the sector, by partnering with the Elischer Foundation we hope to enable legacy professionals to take the next step in their career and help fill the current gap in legacy knowledge among senior leadership roles.
The recipients will receive a year-long development pathway with additional benefits including quarterly ‘lunch and learn’ webinars and participation in an annual leadership day to connect and learn with programme alumni.
Applications are now open through the Elischer Foundation website and close on 23rd January 2024.
Successful applicants will be notified by 19 February 2024. The programme will begin at the end of March 2024.
Our Crispin Ellison Bursary, which furthers professional development in legacy administration will open for applications in January 2024.
