CIOF Legacy Fundraising Conference 2021

Legacy fundraising has increasingly grown in importance within fundraising departments. Whether you’re looking to bring new innovation to your legacy strategy or are beginning your journey from scratch, this conference will impart advice from experts within the sector and give you the chance to ask your burning questions on how to engage your supporters and create a successful legacy fundraising strategy.

The keynote panel will be chaired by Rob Cope, Director of Remember A Charity, joined by Craig Fordham, Director of Legacies at Macmillan; Barry Hunt, Head of legacies at Scope and our very own Meg Abdy, Development Director at Legacy Foresight.

They will discuss the long term impact of the pandemic on donor attitudes and behaviour, and what this means for legacy fundraising strategies .

Later in the day during the Developing a Legacy strategy 101 session, you’ll hear from Kath Horsley (Legacy Foresight), Madeleine Sugden (digital impact consultant) and Anna Webster (Cancer Care) on how to get the best from the resources available to you and how best to communicate with your supporters on Legacy giving.

This session will look at the key factors when building or revitalising your Legacy strategy, concentrating on:

  • Digital
  • Reporting and forecasting
  • Marketing
