The Legacy Futures Bursary Awards have been set up this year by Legacy Futures to invest in the future of our sector.
There are award categories on offer:
The two bursary award categories will be judged by a panel of senior figures from across the legacy and in-memory sector, with at least two judges assessing each scheme.
Applicants will only be considered for a Legacy Futures Award if:
- They are employed by / volunteering in a charity
- They agree to attend an online event where the bursary award will be presented to the successful candidate(s)
- They are willing to write an article regarding their experience and provide quotes for future publicity materials
- They are willing to have their photograph used in future publicity materials, including on the Legacy Futures group company websites.
The Bursary Awards are based on an assessment of the applicants’ experience, performance and potential, using a transparent scoring system agreed by all judges. Bursary Awards will only be awarded to individuals or teams who, in the opinion of the panel, will benefit from the bursary award and who will use it to contribute positively to their organisation in the future.
